What is Liminal Yoga?

Yoga means union with the Universe. Yes, we practice three traditional aspects of yoga: asana (postures), pranayama (breathwork) and meditation. We also commune with Lifeforce through community in other ways–through shamanic journeying, channeling, healing, and so much more. For those yoga nerds out there, we utilize these practices to enhance our relationship to the remaining limbs of yoga: the yamas (social tenets), niyamas (personal tenets), dharana (focus/concentration)–all eventually leading to ishvara pranidhana (surrendering to the Vital Lifefroce) and samadhi (Heaven on Earth!).

We are a vibrant community dedicated to our self-growth, grounded strength, and the co-creation of a life centered around acceptance, love, and expansion. We welcome you! ✨

Meditation & Breathwork

35 minutes to ground, breathe, and meditate. To start your day being truly home. Pranayama (breathing) and chanting techniques are from yoga. Activations, releases, visualizations and tips to stay focused on your health, wellbeing and center of ease.

These sessions meet on Zoom Monday-Friday mornings from 8-8:45am EST. In the summer, we meet once a week in the park.

Asana Practice

Breath-centric postures and sequences designed to honor the perfect balance of yin & yang, or as the Ashtangis say “sthira sukham asanam” – resolutely abiding in good space. The practice is strengthening, aligned, and with a good dose of surrender to the majesty of the body, mind & Spirit!

This class meets mostly on Zoom Mondays & Wednesdays from 9-10:15am EST. In-person classes available at the Hubbub Haven in Weaverville twice a month, and in the summer we also meet in the park.

Restorative Yoga

Accessible to most–standing or rooted with the back to the ground–there are plenty of gentle opportunities to enter into that happy, body-melting love state we call “the yoga glow.” Using Earth energy to release, ground, and be cradled–you’ll enjoy a wonderful day and weekend ahead.

This class meets on Zoom on Fridays from 9-10:15am EST. In-person classes available at the Hubbub Haven in Weaverville twice a month, and in the summer, we also meet in the park.

Light Alignment

We use sacred geometry, mudras, chanting, humming and other sound work, along with our open third eyes to flow through spontaneous asanas. Creating shapes and containers within the group. This encourages a real remembering of our Subtle/Energetic Body so that we can truly sense and enjoy the light and energy that we are comprised of! A quicker flow than Asana Practice, and brought forth with mindfulness to the physical accessibility of the participants.

Light alignment is sprinkled into New Moon and Full Moon Practices and other special celestial event classes.

Check out our Event Calendar for those special classes.

Liminal Singing

Our voice is a powerful connector. We may practice chanting, mantra, automatic singing, and our heart songs. As in nāda yoga (the yoga of sound), we activate and appreciate the nadis of our Subtle Body–a network of light lines and resonance that keeps our souls tethered to this human existence. Whether you are comfortable using your voice, or you are just beginning to release it, Liminal Singing will feel both grounding and freeing!

Lifeline Healing

A guided technique that follows the aspects of quantum physics–we are simultaneously particle and wave. We tap into alternate timelines (probable realities we didn’t undergo directly) to merge with one that provides healing for a relationship or experience. We become more aware of our capability for compassion and unconditional love, as well as how fluid and malleable time truly is!

Liminal Yoga is YOU!

More importantly than all of these traditions and influences, YOU contribute to our classes! Our community inspires, supports, and challenges each other to grow. We hold a sacred container– whether you are tuning in through Zoom from afar, or local and in-person, you are acknowledged, felt, appreciated, and respected as a vital part of our experience.
