Fairy Field trip!

You’re invited to join us for our annual get-away to do an organized Blue Ghost Fairy Experience with Terra Nova, camp or stay in their lodging, swim, kayak/canoe at the lake, visit the gardens, potluck by the fire, take some time alone and meander the labyrinth, and/or connect with our community members.

We are also celebrating our long-time friend, journeyer and community member, Anita! She’s embarking on the adventure of her 75th year and moving to Massachusetts–all within the same month!

Picnic/potluck for evening meal at 5:30pm on Saturday. Vegan/vegetarian preferred please!

WHEN: Saturday, May 18, 2024. Fairy Tour starts at 7:30pm

A few of us will most likely be camping on both Friday and Saturday nights, arriving on Friday afternoon and leaving Sunday afternoon.

WHERE: Terra Nova, Center of the Brigade of Light. 110 Terra Nova Ln, Cedar Mountain, NC 28718

Meet at the Lighthouse Chapel for the Fairy Tour. Or come before and find us gathering on the lawn between the road and the lake.

COST/ACCOMODATIONS: Fairy Tour is $33 ($37.05 with fees) if you are not staying the night (camping or in The Hideaway), $15 if you are.

If you’d like to enjoy the grounds during the day and you are not staying the night, a day pass is $10. (Day pass is included with camping and lodging. You can register/pay with cash at Terra Nova)

It’s $25/tent per night to camp (max 2 people per tent). Bathhouse with hot showers available for campers a short walk from the camping site. Book with Paul (see below) or Terra Nova directly if you miss the deadline. Limited to 15 tents.

The Hideaway sleeps 5 and is $270 for a MINIMUM of 2 nights. If you are wanting indoor accommodations, I recommend booking for Friday and Saturday nights as they do not host people for one night.
